Plan a Staycation at the Hyatt Place Crocker Park - The Cleveland Moms

Just steps away from the hustle & bustle of Crocker Park is the Hyatt Place in Westlake. Located right inside of the shopping mecca, Hyatt Place boasts 110 spacious & stylish rooms with modern amenities. With so many shopping & dining options within walking distance of the hotel, there’s no need to ever leave Crocker Park.

It’s always been on my radar to check it out so I was thrilled to plan this staycation at the Hyatt Place for two nights. Being close to home without having to go far for any last minute needs, I knew it would be a perfect way to get out of the house & relax a little while playing tourist.

We haven’t been inside a hotel since December 2019 but knowing the Hyatt has a commitment to care with extensive sanitizing/cleaning processes, I was ready to break free from our house & enjoy a couple nights away.

Let me tell you – it was amazing.

Check-in was a breeze, the beautiful lobby was inviting & looked sparkling clean. Once we got to our room, the first thing I noticed was how amazing it smelled. So fresh & so clean. We stayed in a 1 bedroom king suite which was excellent for our family. Mom & dad got some privacy in the bedroom with a super comfy king sized bed while our son had the large main living area to himself with a convertible sofa bed.

Our room also had a kitchen with all that you’d need: microwave, refrigerator, & storage space if you wanted to make your own meals or store snacks along with a large table more than suitable enough for working remotely or a meal. There’s even a tv built into the wall by the table. We took advantage of being right inside Crocker Park so the first night we brought Hot Chicken Takeover back to our room to enjoy & the second night we had dinner in one of the winter cottages at Burntwood Tavern.

What was the best part of staying at the Hyatt Place?

Although there were many things I absolutely loved, the pool is at the top! It feels like years since we’ve last been in a pool & our son had the time of his life. Each time we visited the pool, we were the only ones there so it felt incredibly safe. It was the perfect size & would be pretty amazing for little ones, too, as the deepest end is 4 feet. I would have felt extremely comfortable bringing my son here when he was younger. The pool also overlooks the large gym they have as well.

The Hyatt Place Crocker Park even offers complimentary breakfast in the mornings. While their current offerings are a covid-friendly buffet with individually packaged items, their usual full hot breakfast buffet is anticipated to be back soon. The selection we experienced was great though & more than enough. The first morning we ate in the lobby & the next morning we packed some items in the paper bags they provide for a quick to-go breakfast.

All in all, our stay at the Hyatt Place Crocker Park was a great way to get out of the house & be in a different environment even if for only a few days. We were able to work from our rooms with the dependable free wifi & our son was able to do his schoolwork as he is a virtual learner. It was the best way to feel on vacation but without the stress of going far away.

Also notable to mention that the Hyatt Place Crocker Park has a bar right inside the lobby, provides a complimentary parking pass in their garage, & has a market that is available 24/7 with a variety of snacks & drinks.
