October was full of Halloween Spooktacular planning, playing tourist all around Cleveland, & boating. I almost thought we wouldn’t be able to squeeze a trip in for our year of monthly travel but I planned a night away for some r&r after the Halloween Spooktacular. Literally that night, we headed south to Dover to unwind & celebrate a massively successful event which by the way, THANK YOU to everyone that came. It was nothing I could ever dream up for my very first event I am just so thankful for your support.
Dover is only about an hour & a half from Cleveland depending on where you are. We first visited this area back in 2020 when the pandemic first started. We found a converted shipping container with a hot tub & thought that would be a great way to get away for a change of scenery since travel took a back burner.ย
Fast forward to 2023 & I found another cute converted RV in Dover. I later found out that it’s actually the same owner so we booked directly with her which was cheaper than through AirBnb.
What brought us here was honestly just the hot tub. It was an experience but I don’t think I’d be comfortable doing more than one night. It’s fairly small but was good for what we needed. If you’d like more info on this rental, feel free to reach out! We didn’t do much else while there since the weather was rainy & pretty miserable. The last time we were in this area; however, we went to Dover Dam which was cool to see & Dundee Falls if you wanted to check that out.
