Bellwether Farm Camp is a week-long, overnight experience where children grow in confidence, creativity, and connection. Set on 137 acres of forest, farm, meadows, and water, our camp blends outdoor adventure with meaningful community, offering kids space to explore, reflect, and simply be themselves.
Each session welcomes about 40 campers, ensuring a close-knit environment where every child feels seen, supported, and safe. Days are filled with hands-on experiences like farming, cooking, canoeing, archery, hiking, and nature-based art. Evenings bring the whole camp together for homegrown traditions, like talent shows, night hikes, and songs under the stars.
Campers are grouped by cabin—eight near-peers and two trained counselors who provide steady care and gentle guidance. Activities are designed to engage all personalities and energy levels, from enthusiastic extroverts to thoughtful introverts.

Our children, youth and family camp sessions allow campers, families, and households to gather in a safe and nurturing space. Our multi-generational campers connect not only individually but also collectively, tethering themselves to one another and our community here in Ohio.
The “magic” of summer camp is evident not only in the loud, joyful laughter, in the voices of our campers, but also in the quiet moments. When campers gather in transformative spaces like Bellwether Farm, we see shoulders lower, jaws unclench and breathing slow down.
