Young Chefs Academy was established with the vision of cultivating/serving children’s strong interest in the culinary arts with a welcoming environment that provides a “real” setting so that the students can take what they learn at YCA to their own homes.
There are several different classes offered your child can attend individually or weekly:
- KinderCooks (ages 4-7)
- JuniorChefs (ages 7+)
- SeniorChefs (ages 12+)
They also can host you for your next Birthday Party! Read more about their offerings in the 2023 Birthday Party Guide as well as camps – learn more about what that entails in the 2023 Summer Camp & Program Guide.
Workshops & Special Events happen often so be sure to check out their schedule often:
MEET THE OWNERS
Emphasizing the concept of “Family”, YCA has become an extended part of both families. Ray and Jen have three amazing children, while Sy and Tanya have two awesome kids that all share a similar friendship, as well as their furry friends. The Mougrabi’s Lebanese ancestry and the Must family’s Italian roots have, along with a diverse spectrum of prior experience, including management, sales, marketing, finance, and education amongst the four has produced a nice balance in their working relationship.
Both sets of parents are extremely active in their communities, whether it’s through their roles as youth sports coaches (in football, soccer, and baseball), organizers for local church food drives, serving on local zoning and HOA boards, and holding positions as PTO vice president and youth soccer program treasurer.
As the proprietors of YCA, they have been able to establish local scholarships for high school graduates looking to pursue a career in the culinary arts, sponsor food drives, make donations to area charities and schools, and participate in civic activities (such as: Crocker Park Day at the Chalet & Pinecrest).
