If you’re looking for a more holistic and personalized approach to women’s healthcare, it’s time to visit Veranova Health. This new “boutique style” nonprofit health clinic opened in January 2023 and offers a different kind of care, one that looks for solutions rather than simply treating symptoms.
Veranova Health specializes in obstetrics, gynecology, infertility, cycle education, adolescent health, restorative reproductive medicine, addiction medicine, post-menopausal care and family medicine. The name derives from the Latin word Ver meaning true and Nova meaning new or bright star.
Located in Middleburg Heights, the practice attracts patients from all over Northeast Ohio. An accredited OB/GYN, two nurse practitioners and a pelvic floor physical therapist offer evidence-based, compassionate and life-affirming medical care for women and families.
The medical providers and staff treat patients with care and dignity, guided by their mission is to light the way for woman and families to find true health and wellness in body, mind and spirit through evidence-based medicine that supports the body’s natural systems.
For women struggling with infertility or cycle issues such as painful cramps, endometriosis, PMS and polycystic ovarian disease, they offer restorative reproductive medicine (RRM) and NaproTechnology to get to the root cause.
The clinic promotes fertility awareness-based methods (FABMs) as a method of family planning, as they emphasize shared decision-making for couples. They empower young girls with cycle education classes and instruct couples in Natural Family Planning methods. There is great respect for a patient’s religious beliefs and a sensitivity to the emotional, spiritual, and psychological aspects of medical care.
PATIENTS LOVE THE VERANOVA HEALTH DIFFERENCE
“At Veranova Health, each provider listens patiently, speaks truth, seeks the root of a problem, and treats each patient with the utmost dignity. I saw Dr. Beeman for all my OB appointments. He brings both his vast expertise and his faith to the practice. His respect for life is apparent and appreciated. My daughter Lucia has championed two heart surgeries and at least five specialties keep tabs on her. Family nurse practitioner Jenna is fluent in each one. Lucia’s complex medical needs are well taken care of, and when she prays with us to close a session, we remember whose Divine hands we are ultimately in.” – Leeana O.
“We long dreamed of being parents but knew it might not be easy with my history of very painful and difficult cycles. After a year of trying, we went through lots of testing and tried several meds but nothing worked. Cleveland Clinic doctors suggested surgery for my endometriosis, which did improve my overall health and pain. However, it did not lead us to the miracle baby we hoped for. After lots of tears and difficult conversations, Zack and I knew that IVF wasn’t our answer — but we still didn’t know where to find the right answer. At my lowest of lows in this journey, we walked into Veranova Health for an appointment with nurse practitioner Carolyn and I can confidently say our lives were changed.
She didn’t accept the diagnosis of “unexplained infertility” – and quickly found out it would be pretty much impossible to get pregnant with my estrogen and progesterone levels. She worked with me month after month to get my levels where they needed to be and was always open to trying new things. I started charting my cycles and learned so much more about my body and what we needed to do. While we haven’t been successful in having a baby yet, I’m happy with my quality of life and understanding what’s going on with my health. We’re hopeful that with a second endometriosis surgery and follow-up care from Carolyn, we will finally have our miracle baby. But no matter the outcome in God’s plan for us, I will forever recommend Veranova Health.” – Amy M.
