A Super Bowl Spin On Root Beer Floats - The Cleveland Moms

Thereโ€™s a lot to be excited about with this weekendโ€™s Super Bowl, including fierce competition between the Pats and the Rams, a strong halftime lineup featuring Maroon 5, and, of course, the delicious food weโ€™ll be eating throughout the game.

The Local Moms Network contributor Kate Bower of Domestikated Life says her best tip for Sunday is to pace your snacks: โ€œIt’s a long game and if you set everything out before kick-off, things are going to get cold and picked over. I like to save a few of my snacks to bring out at half time when people are ready to hop off the couch and replenish their plates.โ€

While food (and football of course) is the main event at any Super Bowl gathering, every great party can use a signature cocktail, like these easy root beer floats with a caramel twist. โ€œMy favorite part about them is that they’re a hit with kids who might be staying up late to watch the game, and can be spiked for adults who want a grown-up version!โ€ says Kate, whose simple decorating of plastic stemless wineglasses makes them Insta-worthy. Cheers to the big game!
