Saddle up for hoof-stomping fun at one of the yearโs most anticipated events, HorseFest at Lake Metroparks Farmpark! Join us May 17 & 18 for a weekend of exciting equine experiences the whole family will enjoy.
From action-packed showcases to up-close encounters, HorseFest highlights the power, grace and versatility of horses in a fun and educational setting. Whether you’re a longtime horse enthusiast or simply curious, there’s something for everyone.

- Riding and jumping demonstrations
- Barrel racing and chariot battles
- Meet-the-breed sessions
- Wagonette and pony rides (weather permitting)
- Family photo opportunities
- Country-themed shopping at the Farmpark gift shop

โHorseFest is a celebration of the incredible bond between people and horses,โ says Andy McGovern, Event Manager at Lake Metroparks Farmpark. โOur goal is to offer a unique, interactive experience where families can learn about different horse breeds, enjoy exciting performances and get hands-on with these amazing animals.โ
HorseFest is exclusively presented by Ken Ganley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Mentor and is included with Farmpark admission ($7โ$9). Admission is free for Farmpark members, children younger than two and active military personnel and their immediate families.
