The holidays are almost here & a family favorite of ours is going to see all the holiday light displays we have in the area.
Here’s a list of FREE wonderful locations that have all types of displays for you & your family to enjoy organized by West Side, East Side, & South Side for easy viewing starting with Downtown of course!
PUBLIC SQUARE
Public Square in downtown Cleveland is the best place for free holiday light displays! Visit the Christmas tree & enjoy all the different photo ops!

THE ARCADE
No trip downtown during the holiday is complete without stopping by The Arcade. It is always beautifully decorated.

WEST SIDE
1. SEABURY HOLIDAY LIGHTS – Fairview Park
Seabury Holiday Lights in Fairview Park is a community project to encourage residents to light up the city with garland lights along front yards. 2. MUSICAL LIGHTS HOUSE – Fairview Park
If you go to Seabury, you might as well stop by this house that has a synchronized musical light show. It’s at the corner of W 222 & Alexander. The main feature here is the beautiful pixel tree.

3. NIEDERST HOUSE – Rocky River
This Rocky River House is a great drive-by location if you’re in the area. The biggest feature? A 32 foot tall pixel tree. Please note: there’s nowhere to stop & park here.

4. CROCKER PARK – Westlake
Crocker Park is ALWAYS my family’s must-do each year. The whole place is filled with beautiful decorations, the big tree that does a nightly light show, & so much more including fun photo ops!

5. EXCALIBUR MUSICAL LIGHT SHOW – Westlake
This house in Westlake is by far the best musical light display we’ve ever seen at a private residence. I just love their playlist, too – many unique songs! One of the most fun things about this house is there’s no radio station to tune in to – just roll down your windows & listen – they play it out loud!

6. COLUMBIA INFLATABLES DISPLAY – Westlake
Classic display with MANY inflatables. Drive by or park down the street & walk up to view this display! There’s also another nice drive-by display right down the street (heading north) but there’s nowhere to stop for that one.

7. ESTES FAMILY CHRISTMAS DISPLAY – Avon Lake
This is a beautiful house in Avon Lake that is definitely worthy of a drive-by. There’s beautiful lights tastefully decorated with a lot to see.

8. MR. GRISWOLD OF AVON LAKE – Avon Lake
While you’re in the area for other Avon Lake displays, be sure to add this one to the list. With more than 50,000 lights & many trees, there’s something for everyone here!

9. DEVERE CHRISTMAS DISPLAY – Avon Lake
More than 20,000 lights will be display at this residence in Avon Lake. The Devere family has even decided to start the show earlier than Thanksgiving this year so be sure to carve out some time & check it out! Please note: there’s nowhere to stop & park here. 10. VETERANS’ MEMORIAL PARK – Avon Lake
Veterans’ Memorial Park in Avon Lake is a wonderful holiday light display put on by the city of Avon Lake. Drive by & view the lights from the road or stop by to walk around this adorable lakeside park.

11. WARWICK MUSICAL LIGHTS HOUSE – Sheffield Lake
Tune into 88.5 to hear the music play along with all the lights this house has!

12. BOB MANGAN’S WINTER WONDERLAND – North Ridgeville
Visit Bob Mangan’s beautiful display in both his front yard & back yard (when available!)

13. CHRISTMAS CANDY LANE – North Ridgeville
If you’re going to visit Bob Mangan’s house, this one is also worth a quick drive-by with more than 14,000 lights.

14. ASPEN MUSICAL LIGHT DISPLAY – North Ridgeville
Tune into 88.9 for this musical light display which includes two singing trees! (space/parking is limited here)

Come enjoy the LED light show. Tune into 93.9 from 5:30-11:30pm nightly until January 1st!

17. SALEM’S LIGHT DISPLAY – Avon
This Avon house has an extensive 25,000-light display outside of their home + backyard complete with inflatables, lighted arches and music.

18. JAYCOX LIGHT DISPLAY – Avon
This one is strictly a drive by as there’s no real place to park besides pulling over to the side of the road. Still worth a look if you’re in the area!

19. FINWOOD ESTATE – Elyria
Finwood Estate in Elyria is a great place to see some beautiful lights for the holidays & great news – the inside of the mansion will be open from 6-9pm daily for a visit with Santa!

20. HOLIDAY LIGHTS CRUISE-THRU + WALK THROUGH – Lagrange
This family-friendly event will feature their classic lighted features to be enjoyed from the comfort of your vehicle! Admission is free but please bring one non-perishable food item to donate. 21. BIGGS HOUSE – Lagrange *NOT UP FOR 2023*
If you go to Carlisle, do not miss out on this house in Lagrange on Biggs Rd. Though it’s strictly a drive by, it is incredible.

22. LIGHTS ON THE LAKE – Lorain
Experience this lakefront drive-thru lighted holiday display at Lakeview Park in Lorain! Enjoy “Lights on the Lake” with classic holiday scenes, festive décor, and thousands of twinkling lights spanning this 26-acre park. Lights turn on at dusk and stay lit until 10 pm each night. They even decorated the iconic Easter basket this year!

23. VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK – Lorain
If you’re going to Lorain for Lights on the Lake, you don’t want to miss out on Veterans Memorial Park on West Erie Ave across the street from the police station.

24. GHOSTLY MANOR LIGHT SHOW – Sandusky
Each night from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day there will be a Christmas light show set to music. Light show runs every 30 minutes from 6 pm-12 am. Everyone is welcome and the light show is free. Park in the rear of the parking lot, turn your lights off and tune into 99.7FM and enjoy the show!

Contrary to popular belief, the Hoag house is the main attraction here!

BONUS IDEA: DRIVE DOWN LAKE ERIE COASTAL OHIO TRAIL
Take a drive down the Lake Erie Coastal Ohio Trail more commonly known as Lake Rd from Cleveland all the way to as far west or east as you want to go!
Lights along Lake are in abundance this time of the year! You’ll be sure to see some beautiful displays.
