Crocker Park Block Party
Get ready, one of summer’s favorite community events is happening this week! Join us on Sunday, June 14 for the 6th Annual Crocker Park Block Party, a free, family friendly celebration packed with excitement from morning through afternoon.
The fun begins at 9:30 AM with the Hermes Crocker Bark 5K and 1 Mile Walk, starting in Market Square and benefiting the City of Westlake’s K9 Unit. Whether you are running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, it is the perfect way to kick off a full day of community fun.
From 11 AM to 3 PM, Crocker Park comes alive with a high energy street festival stretching throughout Main Street and Crocker Park Boulevard. Guests can explore a wide variety of attractions, experiences, and entertainment designed for all ages.
Climb aboard your favorite vehicles at the Touch A Truck experience, featuring police cruisers, SWAT vehicles, fire trucks, ambulances, and more. Meet members of the Westlake Police and Fire Departments and catch exciting live K9 demonstrations throughout the day on the Market Square lawn.
Enjoy hands-on learning and interactive safety experiences, including drone demonstrations, safety education opportunities, and a Fire Safety House. Throughout the property, you will also find live entertainment, pop up performances, and interactive moments that keep the energy going all afternoon.
Families will love the variety of kids activities and entertainment, including face painting, balloon twisting, chalk art zones, and character meet and greets with superheroes and princesses. Head to East Park for musical performances and family friendly shows, plus meet and greets with featured characters following select performances.
Explore even more interactive fun with activities like kids planting projects, dance demonstrations, pottery painting, and hands-on challenges. Special guests and community partners will be on site with giveaways, interactive exhibits, and memorable photo opportunities.
