We are thrilled to mark the holiday season by once again turning our outdoor gardens into a Winter Woodland, a project made possible with the assistance of Monarch Center for Autism’s gifted students and Thomarios.
From November 19th to February 14th, both the interior and exterior of the mall will be decorated with artwork crafted by Monarch’s students.
The Winter Woodland exhibits at Eton were created by students who dedicated six weeks to work closely with Monarch’s Art Therapists and teachers, drawing inspiration from the winter season. The exterior sculptures were created by students from Monarch Transition Education Program (MTEP), while students from Monarch’s Preschool, Lower, Middle, Upper, and High School contributed to the interior artwork.
Monarch students employed various therapeutic techniques and mediums to express themselves and their unique styles visually. The final collection, displayed throughout the property, not only showcases the talent, dedication, and creativity of Monarch’s students but also underscores the remarkable abilities of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
