Amphibians and reptiles have many extreme adaptations that help them survive in the wild. Some frogs have an antifreeze in their veins that allows them to freeze solid in the winter, while snakes use their tongues to smell and hunt for prey. Discover other interesting ways amphibians and reptiles have adapted for survival. This event will feature live reptiles and amphibians, have informational and activity stations, and will help reveal what makes amphibians and reptiles so special!
Miniature steam train rides will be offered, courtesy of the Lake Shore Live Steamers (weather permitting). Note: For safety reasons, pregnant women are not permitted to ride the trains. All children must be able to sit in their own designated seat; lap sitting is not permitted. No registration required.
