Parma Safety Fair @ Parma Justice Center

The annual City of Parma Safety will take place on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the Parma Justice Center, 5555 Powers Blvd. Attendees can speak with police and fire personnel and participate in giveaways for bike helmets, booster seats, smoke alarms, and carbon monoxide detectors (while supplies last). The event is free for all ages and no registration is required.
- Visit with police officers, SWAT Team members, firefighters, and the Cleveland Metroparks Mounted Unit.
- Visit with the K-9 officers and see them in action.
- Get an up-close look at public safety vehicles such as police cars, motorcycles, fire trucks, and ambulances.
- Watch University Hospitals AirMed land (weather permitting)
- Use of a firehose to knock down a simulated house fire.
- Learn how to extinguish a grease fire.
- Learn how to correctly install a child car seat.
- Receive free fingerprinting and child ID kits.
- Play in the Kid Zone.
