In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Science Center will be offering FREE admission to guests from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, January 16. Guests will have access to special programming including hands-on science cart activities, NASA Chats, and more!
Come together at the Cleveland Museum of Art for a free daylong celebration honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Explore the theme “It Starts with Me: Cultivating a Beloved Community Mindset to Transform Unjust Systems” through storytelling, art making, and reflective writing prompts.
Admission during Difference-Makers Days January 16 – 27, 2023, will be reduced temporarily to $14.95 for adults and $8.95 for children ages 2-12, and $1 from each ticket sold will be donated directly to UBF.* Additionally, guests are invited to make roundup donations or “Text to Give” by sending UBF to 50155.

Each year, cultural, civic, and science institutions honor the memory of Martin Luther King Jr. by inviting all members of the community to enjoy their spaces, exhibits, and attractions at no cost.

Enjoy a casual meet-and-greet with the Nature Center’s reptiles and make-and-take a simple craft. We’ll talk to turtles, speak to snakes, and learn about lizards! No registration required.
Join us for free all day at the Maltz Museum! Honor iconic civil rights leader the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and everyday citizens who fought against discrimination while celebrating the everyday hero in you. Tour the Maltz Museum’s permanent collections and special exhibition, This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers of the Civil Rights Movement, while enjoying hands-on activities on this family-friendly day!
Stop in the center today to enjoy a variety of activities. Try your hand at snowflake science, meet a live turtle or snake, solve a scavenger hunt, and create a craft to take home. Snow painting and play will be available if the weather cooperates! Families are welcome to pack a snack and picnic inside the center. No registration required.
Join the Lake County branch of the NAACP for a celebration of the life and service of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO ALL! Featured keynote speaker Pastor Mike Nwankwo.
